How Jodie Sweetin Got Her Groove Back
Its been a tumultuous fall from grace for the once beloved Jodie Sweetin. If you don’t recognize the name, you probably only know her as Stephanie Tanner from the family sitcom Full House. What you may not know is that after she left the show, went to school, and got married, she hit the methamphetamines like a hypnophobiac from Malibu.
After appearing on the cover of Star Magazine a few times for the meth addiction and once for giving birth to an alien that looks like Bob Saget, she decided to get some help. One form of help that was denied by the parties involved was the Full House intervention party. If anyone could get you to cut it out, it would be Dave Coulier.
In any case, Jodie appears to be cleaned up and trying to get back in Hollywood. In July she was given the prestigious position, Host of the Pants-Off Dance-Off. If you’ve been under a rock for the last few months, Pants-Off Dance-Off is where fungly women strip down to near nakedness and stop before the viewers are forced to spoon out their eyes.
But everyone needs to start somewhere, and it seems that Jodie Sweetin is just a year or two away from returning to stardom. After co-hosting the Chainsaw Awards, she will be lending her voice to Bob Saget’s Farce of the Penguins. In a short while, her voice will also be heard as a character in the can’t-miss Grand Theft Auto IV, sure to be played by millions of Full House fans everywhere.
While its still evident that Jodie Sweetin needs to fire her agent, at least she is in a position to step back into the spotlight. Mark my words, one day Jodie Sweetin will be the most successful child star to come out of Full House, including the two-headed Olsen monster and Dave Coulier.
